Things to Consider When Planning a Company Holiday Party
Even if you’ve mastered the art of working virtually, you know that having a party virtually just isn’t the same. If you’re bringing the company holiday party back in person this year, we have a few tips to help you make it one of the best so far!
The first thing to consider is the event space. This will mostly depend on the size of your party and how casual or formal you want it to be.

Hiring entertainment is great for getting large crowds together, and for smaller parties, providing simple entertainment is perfect for getting everyone involved.

Every holiday party needs food, but what kind of food you have will depend on the time the party is scheduled for. Here are some ideas:

4. Drinks
If you decide to have alcoholic drinks on top of non-alcoholic ones, keep in mind that your event venue may have limitations on what can be served and how it can be served. With that in mind, here are some options:

- Pre-Mixed Drinks (Served in carafes.)

5. Extras
There are some extra perks that can be added as a “thank you” to employees for their hard work over the past year. These could also double as Christmas party gifts!
- Paid Transportation (This could be a code for prepaid Uber or Lyft rides, a shuttle or party bus, or even a limo if you want to go all out.)
- Gift Bags
- Raffle Prizes
Take-Home Food (This could be something like local meats, cheeses, baked goods, etc. that employees can take home to enjoy with their families later.)
